The Vernon County Historical Society meets quarterly on the second Sunday in January, April, July & October at 2PM. Meetings are usually held in the Bushwhacker Museum at 212 West Walnut Street in Nevada.

At the conclusion of a brief business meeting, a program of historical interest is presented. Meetings generally last about 60 minutes and are open to the public.
